Can I Have A Wish?
Wish is a word which has a special place in every individual ‘s casket where each one keeps his or her desires. Every individual has a different sphere of expectations in his different stage of the lifecycle. Each one has a wish drive in which we store our wishes each day as a deposit.
Wishes keep varying as we get older day by day. During childhood, we have a very limited set of emotions. The feel of anger, happiness, sadness comes in a very innocent manner.
It is the stage of life when a child wishes for a toy which can be in the form of a doll or a car according to the gender. In response, if this wish is fulfilled by parents or relatives a child experiences happiness which has no limit, an unexplainable joy.
While the same toy cannot entice him when he reaches his next level of age and it may seem to him to be a mere object. Next is the stage of teenage or adolescents where a boy or a girl find happiness in chatting with each other and sharing immature love.
Girls start getting addicted to cosmetics, dresses, jewelry, and all kinds of women enticing stuff. Her joy seems no boundaries when one of those finds a place in her room. More often with a limited gap, she craves for a new dress and scrolls down the online shopping apps and keeps a new dress in her shopping bag. She would start saving her pocket money for the purchase. Finally, when the dress gets a place in her wardrobe, she would stare at it for many minutes and her joy would have no bounds.
While on the other hand, the rough dusk skinned sex or a boy would have an opposite and different wishlist. It’s difficult for me to analyze or guess which or what stuff would fascinate a boy as I am a girl. But whenever I see people around me in neighborhood or family gatherings, in educational life, I could imagine some of their linings. May be bikes, sturdy shoes or boots, rides with friends, a big dial watch is the probable things which boys wish for.
Well for each stage of life there is a different definition for wishlist. The next stage of life is the most difficult one, the most complicated one. Without much coiling it spiraling, let me tell you it is the adult stage of life.
Life does not seem to eye candy, a pleasant story anymore. Butterflies flying near eyes, beautiful flowers opening their petals, small birds chirping around does not sooth our eyes anymore.
Pretty Barbie dolls dresses, on wardrobes, bike rides, are no more relevant in the favorite satisfaction zone. While at this stage we satisfaction or wish for special someone in our life. All those luxurious items cannot equalize the value of the presence of this special someone. Interestingly, the ball does not always come to our court every time. On the contrary, when our prized possession or our special someone exits our lives, we fail to even remember the definition or meaning of wish. It can be analyzed that such is the greatness of the presence of that person who when is absent in life story it can destroy our craze or strive for a wish.
However, I do not want to say that all people have the same wishlist. After reaching the adult stage, the majority of people opt for a career to be in the first wishlist, then vista themselves as a successful money-making person. But that’s a different zone of people and that’s a different story.
In short, I want to wrap up throwing light on the point that we should not let a person or a thing dominate our innocent wishlist. It should be always simple and innocent. Maybe watching raindrops fall may get added to our wishlist and drop a splash of happiness in our eyes. Just to make it a simple and innocent wish.
