Plabita Borthakur, now a well-known name in Bollywood had made her debut in the blockbuster, PK. She then worked in a critically acclaimed feature film, Lipstick Under My Burkha where she portrayed a powerful character Rehana Abidi. Her upcoming movie Waah Zindagi set to be released in 2018 opposite renowned actors, Sanjay Mishra & Vijay Raaz. She has done 20+ TV commercials like PayTM, Flipkart, Paperboat, etc and was recently seen in a women-oriented short film, The Good Girl which was highly praised and created a lot of buzz on the internet. Moreover, she has a band named Manu & Chow (MnC) that composes beautiful offbeat songs.
